Abstract

Can Singapore become a world design city? This short paper frames this question in the context of international studies of innovation, creativity and design. It then presents results from a recent dialogue with 24 managers with ample experience in Singapore. Directions along five key dimensions are extracted from this dialogue, relating them to specific recommendations for engineering schools in Asia.
