Abstract

The author has developed chain reaction game Creative Gears Laboratory based on problem-solving situations, which included four game scenarios of Risk Precaution, Obstacle Elimination, Situation Balance, and Confidence Challenges. The entire process of chain reaction consists of various scientific components, such as gear devices and tool modules, and game scenarios are created. There are ten sets of tool modules designed as referring operational behaviors in chain reactions game. In this article, the author presents the synchronized / non-synchronized situations in the designed game, and analyzes the operational procedures in the process of chain reactions. It will be hoped that the research findings could be provided as reference for guiding designers in developing various implemented cases of chain reactions.
